The standard evangelism group for universial access and trust of web in Korea
The BarCamp Seoul was held in Daum Communications on October 21st, in Seoul. Many web leaders in Korea joined this meeting. All of them were passionate and active people. I met some of members in this group.
They gave very interesting presentations CSS Zoom & Fluid Layout by Hyeonseok Shin, What I do (His job for web standards) by Suman Park, Component based Web Designs by Hyeonjin Cho and Firefox2 and Web Standards by Channy. Another woman presented the legal issue of Web Accessibility.
BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. Barcampe is world-wide unconference style. You can see photos of this event.
The Web Standards Korea is the standard evangelism group for universal access and trust of web in Korea. We engage various evangelism activities including community, education, documentation, lecture and governmental relationship for standard issues.
